Price Family Preschool

The Price Family Preschool of Temple Emanu-El provides children with a quality early childhood experience in a warm, nurturing Jewish environment.  Our goal is to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the unique needs of each child.  Woven into every aspect of the program are maximum opportunities for the development of:

  • A strong positive self-image.
  • A love of learning.
  • Language and communication skills.
  • A strong sense of their Jewish heritage and the world in which we all live.
  • On-going opportunities for parent education and parent involvement are an integral part of the Preschool program.

Curriculum
Our curriculum is based upon the development of the whole child placing equal emphasis upon:

  • intellectual development
  • physical development
  • social development
  • emotional development.

Our curriculum encourages creativity and self-expression through hands-on learning experiences, allowing each child to develop to his or her fullest potential. Jewish celebrations, values and traditions are an integral part of the program through play, group activity, creative arts and oral and written stories. Shabbat is celebrated each week with traditional blessings, challah and an all school "Shabbat Sing."
